Windows ME

Windows Me has a special way to use open files and must be configured to work with dot matrix printers

or DOS programs.

Since we print as fast as possible and avoid the Windows print spool system when we

print our dot matrix invoices you will need to make a few changes in Me.

Go To Start and click. Pick Run

Type the word msconfig and click on OK .

Click on the system.ini tab.

Find the [386Enh] section and click on it.

Click on the new button, a box should appear right under the [386Enh], if it doesn't then cancel

and click right on the [386Enh] and try again. Be exact or your mouse wouldn't work!

Type PerVMFiles=120 in the box right under the [386Enh]. Click on OK and restart the computer.
