Read the text in the above screen. That is the limit on the text as well. To add more text, use the F6 - Multi-Memo. You can add as many memo's as you like, and each one has a date when you added the memo. You could put a note in this memo to look at the multi-memo.
These memo's can store up to 4800 characters, verses the 120 characters for the standard memo.
