Can't return a movie |

If you can't return a movie it may not be checked out!
In reports you can run the un-completed transaction report to see what movies did not really get rented. This happens when someone puts the movie(s) on the rental screen and doesn't finish the transaction.
You can go to the 1st rental screen and press F10. Enter the item number and press ENTER. The customer number will appear, just press ENTER to select the customer.
You will note that in the R/S/F column the items are not marked PD for paid. This means the transaction was not finished. Either change the date to the day in question, finish the transaction, change the date to today and return the movies or just remove them from the screen with the F7 key. The right way is to rent them and return them. Check to see if the cash was taken for these items and if not check with the customer to see what happened. |
