None of us like problems, but sometimes they just happen. This chapter deals with problems and questions, that have occurred over the past few years and suggestions on how to make your software run better.
Happily, VMT software has had very little trouble, but due to the many kinds of computers, different kinds of networks, power outages, operator error, and different DOS versions there are suggestions that can be made to make your life easier.
Video Shoppe for Windows works on any IBM compatible Pentium or faster. It will perform best on a Pentium 1.2GHZ or faster. You should have a least 32 megabytes of ram memory in your computer, 128 megabytes (or more) is better.
Hard drive size should be least 10 gigabytes, with at least 1/2 gigabyte (500 megabytes free when the program is installed. Video Shoppe needs very little space to run, however Windows needs space for its disk caching and other programs that are usually running.
This chapter will help in most cases, but for complete help when you need it consider purchasing support! There is NO substitute for talking to a real person.
We will try to address as many situations as possible, but there is no way to include everything. So if you have a question that is not answered in the book, call VMT Tech Support at 541-582-4744.
