Video Shoppe has several specials that can be used by setting up the price matrix for one type of movie. This page deals with a few that the matrix can not handle.
Rent XX ( Quantity ) of ( type of movie ) and get the next ( type of movie ) for this ( price )
on these ( days ). Put in the number of movies (3), then the type (NEW), and get the next type (REG) for this price( $0 ) on these days (1234567). 1 is Monday, 2 is Tuesday, etc. Put only the days you want. 157 which is Monday, Friday and Sunday.
First price mode when checked means the first movie you rent, no matter what the normal
price is will be this price. Normally you will NOT use this.
Number of movies XX to give one free that rent for at least XX.XX or have a total spent of XX.XX ( whichever comes first ). This is like rent 10 movies for at least 1.50 each or spend more than
25.00 and get a free movie. Leave the 25.00 at 0, and it's just rent 10 and get one free.
F9 - Free key amount. You can set this to whatever value you want. At the rental screen, after movies have been put on the screen press F9, then highlight the movie of choice, and press F9 again. Whatever price is here will now be the price of that movie.
