Movie Rentals
To rent movies press ENTER on the selection Movie Rental. The rental or ( Point of Sale ) screen is shown on the next page.
Inventory Maintenance
To enter or change inventory items choose the Inventory Maintenance option and press ENTER. You can set up Vendors, make punch card specials, check to see what items are checked out, and set up special membership options.
Customer Maintenance
To add, change, or search for customers choose the Customer Maintenance option and press ENTER. You can search for customers by last name, or ID number.
Store Maintenance
Company options are handled by the Store Maintenance option, choose this option and press ENTER. From this area you can start a cash drawer, set company options, edit passwords, reconcile the cash drawer, Even if you do not have a cash drawer, you must keep your money somewhere, use the reconcile cash drawer option to track this money, edit payroll hours (In Video Shoppe), view history files, set special pricing, view the transaction file, purge history, define security, and set the time & date. You can also load the Barcode, Video Utility and Report Library programs from this menu. ( Optional in Video 2000 ) These options do not come with the demo.
Bulk Return
For Bulk Return choose the Bulk return option and press ENTER. Movies can be returned from Bulk Return, or the Rental Screen. Bulk Return is used when returning from a drop box, or when you have a large quantity of movies to return. Bulk Return can also be done from the Rental Screen.
Reports
To print reports on Financial information, Inventory, Customers or to write and print letters, choose the Reports Option and press ENTER. Many of the financial reports will not show any dollar figures until the cash drawer has been reconciled. Video Shoppe and Video 2000 have over 50 reports each to choose from. Many reports work with a date range where you choose the starting and ending date for the report.
