Support: 90 days instead of 1 year, extra support sold per incident or by the year. Lifetime support is available.

Alerts that are not in Video Shoppe: What are alerts? Alerts are special pop up windows that alert you and your clerks of a special situation. The information is in the Video Shoppe but the alerts are turned off.
Previously rented alert - Lets you know the customer rented this movie before without anyone having to look it up.
Display customer memo automatically - Displays memo information if there any without looking it up.
Birthday alert - Tells you that this customers birthday or anniversary is today.
Money owed alert on credit account - Brings attention to the fact this person owes on their charge account.
Credit card expired alert - Lets you know the customers credit card is expired.
Membership expired alert - Tells you the special membership for this customer is expired.
Items turned off:
Early refund credit - An optional feature that credits the customer for returning a movie early.
Automatic Rewind fee - Asks to apply rewind fee when returning movies. If Y applies fee to customer.
Auto amount tendered feature - Takes best guess how much money the customer will give you.
Photo ID - For attaching pictures to customers for ID purposes.
Hourly rentals - To rent time on machines or anything else.
Special customer search feature - Type in anything you are looking for, like address and search.
Customer add wizard with Default city, state, zip on customer form - Makes it easier to add customers.
Keep detailed cash history for xx day feature - Keeps a backup copy of the daily cash file for detailed reports for XX amount of days.
Email marketing - A great way to keep in touch with your customers! New release mailings, late letters or anything else can be sent with Email.
Rent 2 movies get one free special - Like rent 2 NEW movies and get 1 catalog movie free.
Time clock and payroll - For clocking clerks IN and OUT with a report for wages.

Video Shoppe does not come with the contest program, video utility program, or bar chart printing program.
Video Shoppe does work with USB and Keyboard wedge barcode scanners. It will not print barcodes on laser/inkjet printers unless you add the Utility program for only $100.00.
